I'm an eldest daughter (and granddaughter) – that should tell you nearly everything you need to know about me. It should also mean you won't be surprised that I offered to single-handedly* cater an Easter party for 16 guests.

It was a great success, if I do say so myself! You can head over to my Instagram or TikTok to see the results for yourself.
Since starting an online cooking course with Leiths, my skills and confidence have grown massively. I surprised even myself with how organised, calm and prepared I was for pulling this Easter feasting table off!
How Do You Prepare A Large Family Dinner?
Prep, plan and more prep!
I organised and prepared food over the two days leading up to Easter Sunday and finished the cook on the Sunday morning. My Good Friday was spent making pastry, my Saturday consisted of marinating lots of meat, blanching vegetables and making various side dishes.

*When I say single-handedly, I mean the Easter Food was my responsibility, Mr E did all the washing up - God bless that man!
